Anavar: Side Effects You May Not Have Considered

Anavar Side Effects You May Not Have ConsideredAnavar is probably one of the most popular anabolic steroids ever made. When it first hit the market in the mid 1950’s, it was intended to be used by women and children who had lost weight during an illness or a medical condition. Anavar was used to help them gain back their much needed muscle. It was also used to help patients recover from traumas, to fight harmful infections and to help sufferers of Osteoporosis with bone collagen.

Through widespread love for this steroid, it began to be used in ways it was not intended. Athletes found that it would help them gain muscle and lose fat fast. Because of the popularity among athletes, Anavar was discontinued in 1989 along with other popular body enhancing steroids.

In 1995, Anavar made a comeback under the new name Oxandrin and with a new list of uses. Not only was this anabolic steroid used for weight gain it was now used to build muscle for those suffering from AIDS as well as women who were suffering from Turner’s Syndrome.

Even though Oxandrin is still on the market today, it is sold mostly on the black market for athletes looking for something that will give them a boost of stamina and endurance. Anavar has been known to be a mild steroid, which is one of the reasons it is so popular. People who misuse this drug believe that the side effects will be next to none, but with misuse, there are some definite side effects. Anavar Side Effects include:

  • Decreased sperm production
  • Trouble urinating
  • Change in sexual mood (either a higher or lower sexual appetite)
  • Liver failure
  • Liver cysts
  • Liver tumors
  • Water retention
  • Unusual tiredness
  • Cardiovascular strain

Anavar was once thought of as the perfect steroid. As an anabolic steroid it gave the body something it already produces. There is not a perfect steroid out there. What may have seemed perfect, came with a long list of side effects. Although, these side effects are seen mostly when this drug is over used or taken in a way that is not the original intention.

When taking Anavar or Oxandrin as it is called now, be sure to consult your doctor of your intentions. Using steroids for enhancing performance is illegal and could be harmful to your body. Only a doctor should decide if using Anavar is right for you and your body.
